Sunday October 10th a Sell-out crowd is expected as India and Pakistan do a battle at 20.00pm (ind time)
The final Men’s Hockey preliminary matches will be played at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium on Sunday, and the final match, India versus Pakistan, is expected to attract a full house given the intense rivalry between the two nations. There will be no love lost between these two sides, with the winner likely to progress to the semi-finals. Pakistan may have lost 1-0 on Saturday to Australia, but they will take plenty of confidence from having matched it with the World Champions for 70 minutes. India comes into the match after a 5-2 loss to Australia and a narrow 3-2 win against Malaysia. The umpires for this match are: Nathan Stagno (Gibralta) and Tim Pullman (Australia)
