Dutch Hockey Stars to host Coaching Clinics in Edinburgh

Current Dutch hockey league champions Bloemendaal will visit Edinburgh this October to offer a fantastic opportunity for children and young adults to attend two coaching clinics at The Mary Erskine School, in Edinburgh. Some of the top international players, including Laurence Docherty, Teun De Nooijer, Ronald Brouwer, Eby Kessing, Japp Stockman, Tim Jenniskens, Nick Meijer, Wouter Jolie, and Rogier Hoffman, will be attending the coaching clinics to offer their experience and advice to young players from around the country. There will be eight different skills sets being taught at each session.
Edinburgh-born hockey international Laurence Docherty is organising the coaching clinics, and is enthusiastic about returning to Scotland, “We are excited about coming to Edinburgh to offer this great opportunity to young Scottish players. Bloemendaal is one of Holland’s most famous hockey clubs and I’m sure that youngsters across Scotland will be excited by the prospect of learning new skills with some of the world’s best international players.” Read more at
